THE USE OF PROPANE AS A REFRIGERANT IN AIR CONDITIONING APPLICATIONS. THE OUTCOME OF AN INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH PROJECT: LIFE-ZEROGWP

On June 22nd, 2021, at 10.00 a.m. LIFEZEROGWP project will organise in partnership with AICARR an online final event to present project results of the research program, carried out within the framework of the LIFE – Climate Change Mitigation Programme of the European Union.

In particular the project has dealt with the design and production techniques for developing safe and energy efficient small air conditioning systems that run on propane will be examined from a theoretical thermodynamic and technical standpoint, as well as real field experience. The results of a comprehensive Life Cycle Assessment research will determine the real decrease in environmental effect of the examined propane air conditioning units, as well as their long-term viability in a European setting.

To participate in the meeting it is necessary to register no later than 20 June 2021

The maximum number of attendees is set at 200 to ensure that the meeting runs well. The event will be rescheduled if there are requests for a larger number of people to attend.

Professional Training Credits for Engineers

All Engineers who requested Professional Training Credits at the registration process must attend the full event (100% attention), since the platform maintains track of the participants’ attention.
